Talent Acquisition Coordinator InternCoordinates the prescreening and scheduling of candidates to assist Talent Acquisition Specialists in filling job openings for both permanent and temporary assignments.
Assists the Talent Acquisition Specialists in the sourcing of candidates through multiple methods such as social media, career websites, and job boards.
Works closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists to update internal clients on their openings, and prepare for weekly meetings by ensuring Talent Acquisition Specialists have the appropriate resumes and prescreens to present to their respective clients.
Works with Talent Acquisition Specialists in coordinating recruitment postings, updating Weekly Recruitment Summary Report, maintaining temporary database, and ensuring proper paperwork is in compliance.
Maintains accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, job files and other recruitment activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit.
Posts positions on different career sites, job boards, and PMSI’s applicant tracking software.
Follows the appropriate federal regulations (OFCCP) to ensure our recruitment process is within the established policies and procedures.
Administers candidate’s skills tests, pre-screens and other pre-employment requirements.
Attends and helps coordinates internal and external job fairs.
Serves as a liaison between universities, local technical colleges, veterans and disable organizations to promote PMSI’s job opportunities and increase our brand in the community.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Under the general supervision of the Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialists, provides administrative support and coordination of recruitment efforts for the Human Resources Recruitment function.
Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Desired: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
Required: 1-3 years prior experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or HR Coordinator, with emphasis on recruitment and sourcing, in a corporate environment. Experience coordinating and managing candidates and interviews using MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Desired: Experience handling the new hire process (gathering paperwork, background checks, drug testing, I-9, references, etc.); prior work with an Applicant Tracking System, Job Boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Desired: PHR certification
